It is a known medical fact that blood pressure is the major contributor to the Stroke Event.   I studied medicine for 4 years at Sydney University.  When I was 58 in 1998 I suffered a massive stroke.   I collapsed at home.   In Casualty at Royal North Shore Hospital the doctor found my blood pressure to be 220 Systolic over 110 Diastolic.   I was immediately put in the serious stroke ward, completely paralysed.   I couldn’t speak or move.

"Linda Parker is a Naturopath that treats rosacea and she saved my life!!! Yes, she cured my chronic skin condition.

For seven years, I was suffering with a skin condition known as “Rosacea”.

Before Linda, my family doctor treated me with various medications.
She prescribed the pill, antibiotics and various others but nothing really worked.

I clearly recall taking a total of 6-8 antibiotics each day for a long period of time. I must say, I did see an improvement, however, the minute I stopped taken them, the problem reoccurred.

(Little did I know that the medication was actually “feeding the problem” not helping it!!!!).

Becoming increasingly frustrated not to mention my self esteem and social life taking a big bashing; I requested a referral to a Skin Specialist.

I had read about this medication through my extensive research and under no circumstances, was I prepared to try it!!
This medication has severe side effects and I do not recommend it to anyone.

The Skin Specialists encouragement and persuasion did nothing to convince me to try Roaccutane.  Once again, I wasted my time.

I had struggled with recurring candida infections for 4 years. I'd seen over a dozen doctors who prescribed creams and pills that worked for a week or so then the candida came back. I would be lucky to enjoy a 2 month stretch without a bout of candida. 

I was at my wits end, I was sssooo bloated, head achey, tired and lethargic with no energy and just not my old happy self. In desperation I decided to try a naturopath who treated thrush and was sssoooo very lucky to stumble across Linda!! She took the time to go over every aspect of my health and made me feel like I had a legitimate problem that she could fix!!

The first 2 weeks were horror with me coming off sugar and processed foods like a junkie! But Linda was always there for support! She put me on the right track to a better diet and a better lifestyle. After three months of sticking religiously to Linda’s plan, I’m feeling great! And am almost back to my normal self! After crashing into a stationery houseboat while knee-boarding on the Murray River in 2007 I was left with a shattered femur bone and severed quadriceps tendons.

The surgeon repaired the damage by inserting two metal plates and several pins into my leg.  Over the next 12 months I was on pain killers and anti-inflammatory medication as I started the process of learning to walk again. Despite successfully getting back on my feet I was constantly frustrated at the persistent pain and inflammation in my injured leg.  In 2008 I had one of the plates removed, which meant more anesthetics and more pain medication. A further 12 months later (2009) I had the rest of the metal work removed.  However, five general anesthetics and years on medication were taking its toll on my body. 

So prior to the last operation I sought out Linda to find alternative ways of healing my leg and reducing my pain.

"It all started again the week before Christmas 2001, the stress of training 2 new staff and the approach of Christmas didn't help. I had been free from a bad Candida infestation (thrush) for 11 years but the last time, just before completing my university degree had left a lasting impression.

Straight away I went to the chemist and bought Canesten and I started on the road to 10 weeks of hell! At the end of this time, I can report that I had seen my doctor twice and a gynecologist plus the top draw of my bedside table was full to the brim with empty packets of creams, applicators and tablet bottles.

By the 10th week, I was at my wits end. I was screaming inside. My husband wondered who he was married to I'm sure. I was tearful and frustrated and so...so....itchy!

It all came to a head when I was standing on the platform at Wynyard station, waiting to catch my train home. I thought how easy it would be to just step in front of a train and end it all!

What a horrible thought - I had never ever thought like this before and I hope to never again.

"Hi Linda, thank you so much for helping me to get back on track with my skin problem. Treatments before you were not successful. My skin problem (eczema on legs and arms, dry skin, red spots) kept coming back to an extent where I started to hate it! Nothing seemed to work. Knowing that cortisone is not a solution, and I also had tried leaving out different foods in my diet which eased the problem slightly but not entirely.

Sticking to the strict diet plan you gave me and taking the advised supplements, I noticed a big change in just a few days after starting the diet.

"I was diagnosed by the doctors with Crohns Disease, (an inflammatory bowel disease) and Menopause!

The crohns was affecting my lower and upper part of my small intestine, causing a lot of discomfort and diarrhoea. I was placed on Mezazaline and Imuran (an immune suppressant drug). Whilst on this medication, I still had severe diarrhoea and bloating and I started noticing that my periods were getting less and less frequent, with no fertile mucous.

I was getting my periods every 7 months! So I took myself off all my medications for Crohns as I was concerned that they were causing the above as well as a lot of secondary effects.

My skin started to look yellow and I was getting every cold under the sun. I also worried about being able to conceive, as my husband and I wanted to start a family. So I went to my gynaecologist who found out that I was not ovulating. Anyway, my gynaecologist started me on a course of Clomid (fertility drugs). I was on the treatment for 4 months, increasing the dose each month. Still nothing, so I then went to a fertility specialist who started me on a course of hormone injections. This could have resulted in multiple births, which we were willing to risk.

After lengthy tests for my husband and myself the specialist turned around and said to me that there was "no hope of conceiving alone as I was going through EARLY MENOPAUSE" and therefore, my only hope was to go on the waiting list for an egg donor. This could take up to 5 years to get one. I was not willing to accept this at all. I was only 31 years old.

I decided not to listen to the specialists and to seek natural alternatives.

I phoned a number of different Naturopaths, but Linda's number just stood out to me. After talking with her I was confidant that something could be done. My faith kept me strong, as Linda told me it would take some time to get everything right. I was disappointed to hear that but knew it was for my own good.

Within 2 weeks of treatment and being on a special diet, my Crohns was under control. To have solid stools again for the first time in years was such a bonus. I didn't feel sick each time I sat down to eat and I started to actually enjoy life again.

After my Crohns was under control, Linda worked on normalising my hormones again. It took 6 weeks from the first time I saw her for me to have a period again and then, I was getting it every month (on time too!!) We then worked on my ovulation and believe it or not, I was pregnant within 5 months of seeing Linda.

I now have 3 beautiful, healthy children. So much for "early menopause".

All I can say is never give up hope. Have faith and believe. I have never looked back on seeing Linda and thank God each day for leading me to her".

"I'd had a chronic cough for about 8 months that had got increasingly worse. By the time I'd had my first consultation with Linda Parker (Kotis) I hadn't slept for more than 2 hours at a stretch for over 2 months straight. "I came to see Linda after two years of suffering from what doctors diagnosed as PCOS - polysystic ovarian syndrome. I had gone from being a happy, healthy person to someone who was barely able to get out of bed in the morning.

I was suffering from severe pain on an almost daily basis and despite my persistence, I felt that none of the doctors or specialists I had seen were really helping me.

I was fed up with not being listened to and despite the support of my husband and family, I was starting to become depressed, wondering if this was as good as my life was going to get.

"My wife and I have been trying to get pregnant for 8 months and had consulted an IVF doctor before seeing Linda. We felt that although we had been trying for a while we were both under 40 years of age and to have invasive treatment without trying any other methods seemed like taking a sledgehammer to the problem. So I contacted Linda hoping she could help with infertility natural remedies.

At first I was sceptical.

The doctors had told us that my sperm count was low and wasn't in the best shape. Linda said that I needed to not only take things (herbs and vitamins) but I had to improve my lifestyle. "We want to thank you for your Consultation for our thoroughbred racehorse - Sea Battle.

The Vets that were treating him, were not helping his situation (throat abscess) and he became extremely ill (just before Spring Carnival)...he then deteriorated even more and struggled to breathe!

He was sent to the Werribee Hospital and given high amounts of antibiotics which made him worse.

We took your advice and asked them to give him Intravenous Vitamin C every day, dried garlic, kelp, turmeric and fresh grass with rose leaves.

He went from near death to life in one day!

He stopped scouring, started eating and was ok to leave hospital in 2 more days.

We visited him then at Rockmount Stud in Euroa and he was happy, healthy and running around chasing mares.
